Members of Rapid Action Battalion 3 arrested four suspected members of a religious extremist outfit named ‘Allahar Dal@Allahr Sarkar’ from Hatirjheel area in Dhaka on early Monday.

The arrested are Ibrahim Ahmed Hiro, 46, from Pabna, Abdul Aziz, 50, from Gaibandha, Md Shafikul Islam Suruj, 38, from Pabna, and Md Rashidul Islam, 28, from Kurigram.

On a tip-off, a RAB 3 team raided Hatirjheel area at about 10:05pm to 11:30pm on Sunday and held the four suspects.

Mobile phone, pen drive and hard drive were seized from the arrested, said a press release of RAB Headquarters.

In primary interrogation they confessed to their involvement in ‘Allahar Dal@Allahr Sarkar’.
